Nourishment Coaching includes three aspects: Culture, Balance, and Awareness.
As your nourishment coach, I help you become aware of your own “nourishment culture.” Your nourishment culture is the sum of the emotional, sensing, attitudinal, and informational aspects of your relationship with how you feed yourself. Understanding your own nourishment culture allows a deeper acceptance of your true self. Once this occurs, you will nourish yourself physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Nourishment coaching is also about achieving balanced nourishment. Most of us just eat because we know we need to; or have a craving for “something.” We don’t realize that food also nourishes our spirit. However, saying that food nourishes our spirit isn’t enough. Through the experience of nourishment coaching and shamanic healing, you learn to balance nutritional facts while connecting with your inner wisdom. Nourishment coaching will help you to eat consciously: to feel, taste, and smell food as you buy, cook, and eat. You will become more aware of triggers that drive you, not only as thoughts, but also as sensations in your body.
As you increase your awareness about your inner self and the gift of nourishment, you will feel the effects of different types of foods in various circumstances. You will appreciate the intimate relationship your body has to the type of nourishment it receives. Through this process, you become aware of what nourishes your body, as well as your mind and spirit.
