Shamanic Healing and Study

Changing from Within is an integrated program that is not about going on a diet or losing weight, but about embodying a new relationship with your true self. In this approach, emotional support and information are interwoven.

• You will receive individual coaching and healing.

• You will learn to empower your inner observer, so you can become aware of and choose the amount of change necessary for your well being.

• You will learn a new balance between your physical and spiritual self.

The Changing From Within Program includes:

Starred services (*) are the basic, required building blocks of a typical two year program. Since you are unique, I will personally work with you to develop a program that meets your needs, and assist you with program development and modification as your needs change.

*New Client Intake

Analysis of your nourishment needs and goals.

At our first meeting you will tell me your story, what and why you want to change, your attitudes about eating, past history of dieting, how food was served in your family while your were growing up, your attitude toward cooking, what foods you absolutely love (and hate), your health, ways you take care of yourself or don’t, your attitudes about exercise. I will ask the names of your health care providers, and whether you have any outstanding health problems. I will encourage you to inform your health care provider(s) about this program. Changing from Within is not a substitute for medical care and/or psychological counseling.

You will keep a food diary for one week that tells me what and when you eat, how you feel when you are eating, how long you sleep, and how much you move around each day. I will analyze your food diary and guide you to selecting foods that will nourish you and support your goals.

*Ongoing Nutritional Analysis

It will take several months to develop an eating pattern that nourishes you. During the first year, especially, you will experience more dramatic changes. Depending on your needs, I will do a weekly or biweekly analysis of your continuing food diary until you begin to take over for yourself. You will keep track of what you eat while noticing how you feel, in order to make life choices that nourish yourself.

*Telephone Check In

During the first months, especially, when you are experiencing the most rapid changes, you can check in, ask questions, report progress or frustrations, and get encouragement. These phone calls are your lifeline between appointments.
Grocery Shopping and Cleaning Out Your Cupboards

I will help you prepare a shopping list that reflects your lifestyle; then we will shop together. We will also take into account your family’s needs and how you can integrate your changing food habits with theirs. Shopping together helps you choose foods, understand labels, and substitute non nourishing foods for those that nourish you. Then, we will go through your pantry together as you tell me what and why you prefer certain foods, decide on which foods you want to give to a food bank, which you want to throw away, and which you want to keep.
*Personal Shamanic Healing

The shamanic healing sessions are designed to help you integrate a new sense of wholeness, regain your personal power, and develop a better awareness of the connections between your needs and desires.


*Personal Nourishment Coaching

During these sessions, we will continue to address your relationships with nourishment, what stresses you, how you can best tap your inner wisdom, develop ways to help you celebrate your life, and learn to eat consciously and joyfully. I will teach you to journey, if you wish, and journey on your behalf when you have questions or dilemmas.


Group Nourishment Meetings

Participating in a group allows us to share our successes, support each other, and form community. We will share food during these sessions and often laughter; sometimes we will all go out for walks or other physical activities. This is a time for learning centering practices, about foods that heal, food as our connection to nature and who we are, how to avoid stress when we eat, and practice journeying together.


Eating Out

Most of us don’t have time, and some of us don’t like, to cook. I will help you find foods that work for you when you eat out so you can enjoy eating out without worrying about what you eat.
Cooking Together

For those of you who wish to learn more about the sensual joy of cooking, fun experiences around cooking, enjoying mealtimes with others; Analouise will bring groups together in her kitchen to learn to cook, eat, and laugh together.


Walks with Analouise

During these walks you will learn how to walk and enjoy nature, but also be able to get questions answered, share progress, etc. During the summer, I will do these at a set time, 2 or 3 times a week.



Shamanic Healing and Study

I offer shamanic healing appointments, teach shamanism, and develop ceremonies for special events. I am also available for distance shamanic healing sessions. Please call 503.201.9224 to make an appointment and answer any questions you may have.
